Body Mechanics Massage Therapy LTD is pleased to offer Intern Massage Therapy appointments to members of our community.

Intern Students are successful graduates of the 2200 hour British Columbia Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Program and will be offering Massage Treatments while they wait to take their licensing exams to become fully registered RMT’s in this Province (BC).

Intern Massage Therapy is recommended for patients that:

seek a little more care between visits with usual RMT
may be experiencing financial barriers to regular RMT Massage Therapy Treatments
do not have extended medical or third-party Massage Therapy benefits

These treatments will be offered at a reduced cost to that of the standard RMT Massage Therapy treatment.

Intern Student Rate: $65.00 (including GST) for 60 minutes treatment

On your first appointment, like a registered massage therapy session, your intern student therapist will do a comprehensive intake and ask you about your medical history related to the reason of your appointment.
After better assessing you and your condition, your therapist will discuss your treatment plan and expected results.
Your intern therapist will continue to evaluate your condition and how you are feeling in every session. Please expect that a portion of your visit will be used to review your treatment plan or to provide further assessment (if needed).
